There are a bunch of controls you’ll find on the first page of the game mode besides the games map. At the bottom of the screen, you have the option “Cooling Fan”, Interstellar Belt, RedMagic Time and Block Calls. At the top of the screen you get options for the Red Magic game handle and “Personal Center”.

The personal center offers several functions such as fan settings, recording settings and basic settings. If you’re a heavy gamer and want your device to stay cool for extended sessions, the “Fan” feature is what you need to tweak.

This mode has a “smart adjustment” feature that allows the device to adjust the fan speed based on the CPU temperature.

Another feature available in this mode is fast cooling whose main function is to activate the maximum fan speed. You can also change settings for recordings using this Personal Center window.

For example, you can select video quality and also save Game Full and Game Death video. While the first displays the full gameplay, the second records the deaths in a game.

Finally, the basic mode gives you the option to select the serene refresh rate between Auto, 60 fps and 90 fps. It can also be used to turn on the Competitive Atmosphere LED (LED flashes when the game key is on) and also disable/enable Constant Brightness Protection (Close Auto Brightness).

Game space mode has a myriad of options hidden inside a smart slider. You need to swipe left from the right edge of the screen to bring up this window. It displays useful information such as device temperature, network speed, CPU and GPU performance.

There’s also a slider to adjust the screen brightness, so you don’t have to pull down the notification bar separately for the same.

The device also has a 4D shock feature, but it is limited to a handful of games like Knives out, Asphalt 9, PUBG Mobile, and QQ Speed only. It remains to be seen if this mode will be supported for additional games in the future. You can change the haptic feedback to your needs using this mode.

Interestingly, this smart slider also has a WhatsApp shortcut. It opens a small chat window in the left corner which you can also expand if needed. Other features offered by the smart slider include standby, docking station, SuperSnap and blocked calls, etc.
