Pocophone F1 gets Game Turbo with latest MIUI Global Beta update

Xiaomi introduced the so-called Game Speed Booster when it launched the Mi 9 and the same feature is now making its way to the Pocophone F1 though, with a different name – Game Turbo.

As the name suggests, the feature will enhance the gaming experience by optimizing available resources. Probably just like Honor’s GPU Turbo, Xiaomi’s Gaming Boost will optimize the CPU and GPU to deliver a more consistent and smooth gaming experience. It does not magically increase hardware performance, but rather tries to maintain a more stable FPS number.

Plus, Game Turbo lets you clear memory, take a screenshot, start recording, turn WiFi on and off, and even switch between SIM cards without quitting the game. overlay pop-up window that lets you control all of these settings.

Interestingly enough, you can even use apps like Whatsapp, Facebook and even open the browser while you’re in-game. Apps open in a floating window and Xiaomi is planning to add more apps that will support the feature. floating window.

The feature is only available for MIUI Global Beta users and you can enable it from the Security app. It is expected to arrive on the MIUI Global Stable ROM very soon and there is no word on Chinese MIUI support as of yet.
