Game Space debuted in 2018 and has been a mainstay on ColorOS-based devices ever since, including Realme phones. Game Space keeps all your installed games in one place for easy access.
But as soon as the Realme UI update kicks in, the Game Space app no longer works like before the update or it gets deleted from the phone and will never be found again. So what now? Well, there seems to be a workaround for this problem.
Workaround for Realme UI Update Game Space Issue
Realme users experiencing game space issues after installing Realme UI update are not limited to the Indian market. But the problem also affects the various Chinese variants of Realme that have picked up the update to Android 10.
According to a statement made in the official Realme (China) community, the only way to fix this issue is to sideload the Game Space APK on your affected Realme phone.
So far, there is an APK here for each of Realme X, Realme X2 Pro, Realme X2, Realme Q and Realme X Youth Edition in China. If you are using the non-Chinese variant of Realme 3 Pro or Realme XT, there is also an APK file that you can download and manually install here.
At this rate, we should also see Game Space APKs for Realme X and Realme 5 Pro in India. More devices should also get their APKs once they upgrade to Android 10, though future Realme UI updates may come with this issue fixed.
