This statement was also released for fans: “Heroes of Arkesia, due to deployment issues, the launch of Lost Ark is unfortunately delayed.
“We hope this will be resolved within hours, and we appreciate your patience.
“We want your time at Arkesia to be a great experience and we are working hard to get Lost Ark available as soon as possible.
“Stay tuned to our social media and website for updates.”
The game is supposed to be online today.
Fans reacted with angry tweets.
A disappointed player wrote, “Yo, but why the hell are y’all having deployment issues in the first place?
“This game was literally already built and working years before you ported it to Global, you already ran the beta with no issues, nothing changed in the build…?”
Another said: “Can you at least let the founders play?
What is the Lost Ark?
Lost Ark is a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG – or massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
Unlike typical full 3D MMO games, Lost Ark uses a 2.5D top-down format like Diablo.
Players explore a fantasy world together, complete quests and dungeons, and battle in PvP.
The game was originally released in South Korea in November 2018.
But its full Western release is scheduled for February 11, 2022.
However, some players who purchased a Founder’s Pack were granted early access starting February 8.
